Exposed exhibition opening and performances tonight
Word Travels, unleashes a line-up of exciting May events in their new Rocks Pop-Up space. Their program kicks off with Exposed, a unique photographic exhibition featuring some of Australia’s best spoken word artists.
Spoken word artists work in a vital medium; passing on knowledge, ideas and
stories throughout history. Working in an equally powerful and timeless
medium, Chris Peken has created a series of thirteen portraits, using just light,
shape and shadow, with each poet scrawling their words on their flesh.
Exposed Opening Night is the launch of the exhibition followed by performances by featured artists Benito Di Fonzo, Candy Royalle, Skye Loneragan, Geoff Minards and Miles Merrill.
