Seven artists and groups from the Pop-Up are featuring in twelve different events throughout Sydney’s Art & About program this year. It is all about Art in Unusual Places and it runs from the 21st September to the 21st of October 2012.
Here’s a little sneak peek at some of the events - which will include:
Mike Hewson’s installation at the Unwins stores. The Evie Group will be presenting local and emerging designers like Yummii Ong-Tran from Yummii & I, as well as Shan Shan & Helen Mok on the 22nd September; Industrial design trio Shane Talbot, Kieran Choy and Nicholas Kelly of The Design Division on the 29th September. (And many more events coming up on the program).
Markela Panegyres from Sydney College of the Arts will have her first Rocks Pop-Up performance, ” Obsessional-Confessional” on the evening of the 28th September.
You can go on a magical mystery tour with Word Travels who will be ‘Following that Sound’ as they host poetry walks around the Rocks.
